Eliana Brown works in publishing when she isn’t working on The Weasel. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a degree in Journalism, English Literature, and Creative Writing. Her work has been published in L’OFFICIEL USA, MEUF MagazineWashington Square News, Her Campus, Eleven and a Half Journal, Aspirations, and The Weasel. More often than not, she can be found at a concert somewhere.

Bhalla

Isean Bhalla is pursuing a Masters in English and American Studies at Oxford University. They primarily write autofiction and criticism; their work has been published in The Harper Review, The Weasel: Letters, and the N.Y.U. American Public Policy Review. They spend their free time playing the piano and watching too much football (mostly Arsenal).

Olson

Liv Olson is a senior at NYU studying Media, Culture and Communication and Creative Writing. She’s from New Orleans, Louisiana, and she’ll happily give you song recommendations with elaborate explanations upon request. You can find her work in FRONTRUNNER Magazine, Static, and Washington Square News. She also co-hosts a radio show titled Czech Please! which plays Czech jazz and alternative music on WNYU 89.1FM.

Lauren Stanzione is a senior at New York University studying English and Creative Writing. She is from New Jersey, the suburban part with a lot of cows and corn fields and amazing Italian-American bakeries. Her hobbies include getting lost in cities, deep thoughts on trains, cooking pasta, and repeatedly listening to the same five songs. Her work can be found in Oakland Arts Review, Fellowship of the Unmoored, MoveonUp Music, Vagabond Multilingual Journal, Brio, The Weasel, PARK Magazine, West 10th, Kelsey Review, Washington Square News, and Northern Lights.

Adam Feng is a Ph.D. Student at Stanford University studying Ancient Philosophy. They spend most of their time buying more books than they can ever read. Their other hobbies include exploring underground tunnels, paying for overpriced soft drinks, and not attending class.

McCutcheon

Fiction Editor

Maggie McCutcheon is originally from New Hampshire but now resides in Colorado. After graduation she began work as a Marketing Manager, but her real job is here at The Weasel. She gravitates toward character-driven, human-focused narratives with a touch of the unusual, drawing inspiration from writers like Dorothy Allison, Katie Kitamura, George Saunders, and Kate Chopin. With a love for short stories you will find her in varying stages of multiple novels but she will not put down a collection until it has been finished. You can find her work published in Ski Magazine, The College Voice and most consistently in her mom’s inbox.

Sam Earley is a senior from Los Angeles, California. He is majoring in English with minors in Creative Writing and Psychology. He writes about America in all its shapes and sizes and multitudes. You can primarily find his work taped to the walls of his room, in various levels of completeness. Sam enjoys reading and collecting books (two different hobbies), as well as photography, road trips, and always doing two things at once.

Levi Skipper is a senior at CAS majoring in Politics and minoring in Creative Writing. From Northeast Los Angeles, he loves to write silly stories, eat pancakes for dinner, and play cards. He wants to have a big beautiful house and some better-fitting jeans when he is older.

Mae Pirani is a junior at CAS majoring Art History and double minoring in Creative Writing and Urban Design. She is an editor at Ink & Image, NYU's Art History research journal. Her interests include crocheting bonnets for her friends, people watching, wearing primary colors, and wandering the East Village.

Zawil

Art Editor

Nadia Zawil is an arts and language educator and multidisciplinary artist based outside Boston. Rooted in art history, language, and visual practice, she works with students and communities at institutions including the Addison Gallery at Phillips Academy and the Essex Art Center, exploring how creativity and culture shape the ways we connect and communicate. In the studio, she moves between the tactile—printmaking and sculpture—and the ephemeral—performance and prose—often reflecting on identity, emotion, and belonging. She believes in art as dialogue and discovery, and that certainty is the luxury of fools.

Maya Monteleone works in publishing and graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a degree in English Literature and Art History. Her interests include visiting museums, singing jazz, and admiring the 1961 typewriter she got on eBay.

Lili Raynaud is a sophomore at NYU studying Journalism, Politics, and Creative Writing. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, eating Asian food, and wistfully reading Proust on the Metro-North. She does the New York Times crossword every Monday, and tends to write poetry about the same thing twice. Her work can be found in Same Faces Collective, A Partager Zine, and The Weasel!

Hazel Singh is a junior at Gallatin studying Storytelling, Literature, and Creative Writing. She’s lived in 4 countries before, including 7 years spent in Kenya. She spends her time watching Arsenal Women, obsessively listening to the same song for a week, stressing about how to reach her AMC-allotted 3 movies a week, and checking out books from the library. She’s an Editor for Literacy Review and STE(A)M Zine, and enjoys writing prose when not dealing with writers’ block.

Saylor Cole is a senior at Scripps College majoring in English and minoring in Media Studies. She is addicted to journaling and is the proud owner of every one of Virginia Woolf’s novels. Besides reading and writing, her interests include adventuring in the California desert, textile arts, and browsing through CDs to play on her radio show on KSPC 88.7 FM.
